Thank you, thank you to everyone who supported this event! We had a fantastic turnout and the show was great. Lots of inspirational performances and things went so well, it is hard to believe.

Just a little run-down of how it all played out...
1. Jen and & I arrived at the Lyric with all of all materials, props, etc. in tow.
2. We got our first look at the new Community Arts & Information Office. What a great resource this will be for Blacksburg and the NRV!
3. We got as much as we could set up & started prepping our costuming & makeup.
4. Heather arrives with more materials, supplies, costuming, etc.
5. Our stage managers arrive & we begin teching what we were unable to do last weekend.
6. Stage, video, displays, programs, etc all set up & ready to go.
7. The shows begins around 7:05 pm.
8. Other than a minor music glitch, the show flowed smoothly from start to finish.
9. Lots of positive feedback from the crowd of ~160 people (at last count, I think).
10. Lots of great support for the new CAIO through the donations!

All of us involved are still on quite a Muse "high". What a wonderful experience to be a part of!

Well, we're down to the wire with Muse! Posters are being printed, the program is in the works and we are trying to clean up all the loose ends. I was hoping that someone would be interested in doing a story about our little show, but no such luck. Oh well, maybe we'll rate next time!

We have our tech rehearsal on Sunday so we'll get a sneak peak to see how this all came together.

The Lyric mentioned us in their blog!

Advertising for the program is coming along nicely. I think we have close to 15 advertisers so far. A couple of those businesses have also donated some gifts so we will now be including a raffle along with the show.

This has been a great project to work on so far and I am so excited to be a part of it!

We had a very inspiring meeting with our muses this past Saturday. It was great to meet everyone in person and we had a chance to discuss any special needs, etc. Flyers were distributed for any of the performers' promotional needs. Everyone seems to be very excited about this project!

Press releases have gone out to various local television and radio stations along with newspapers.
